MY ART
It´s great to combine different techniques and interesting materials in one piece of artwork. This opens up countless possibilities during the creative process.
I have been inspired by nature, the realities of life and my surroundings in Georgia.
I work in wool, silk and other natural materials, using specialized tapestry and batik techniques. I do all the painting and chemical fixing of the work myself. Often I formulate my own colors from natural materials.
It is these skills and an ability to compose a harmony of color and form, which brings forth works of great textural intensity and subtlety.
